The invention pertains to a process for the microbiological degradation of alkylene amine acetates under alkaline conditions using microorganisms present in activated sludge, in which, e.g., EDTA- or PDTA- containing waste is contacted, at a pH of about 9 or less, with activated sludge containing a wide range of microorganisms, in the absence of carrier materials.

L'invention concerne un procédé pour la dégradation microbiologique des acétates d'amine d'alkylène dans des conditions alcalines, à l'aide de microorganismes présents dans des boues activées. Les déchets contenant, par exemple, de l'EDTA ou du PDTA sont mis en contact avec des boues activées contenant une large gamme de microorganismes, en l'absence de matériaux véhicules, à un pH inférieur ou égal à 9 approximativement.
