Laser comprising a first lasing microdisk (10), microcylinder or microannulus defining a microcavity having a circular cross-sectional periphery and a second waveguiding micromember (12) in a different plane and optically coupled by resonant photon tunnelling. The second waveguiding micromember includes a light output coupling (18) for providing light output from the laser without adversely affecting the Q value and low lasing threshold of the microcavity.

L'invention concerne un laser comprenant un premier microdisque (10), microcylindre ou microcouronne d'émission laser, délimitant une microcavité ayant une périphérie circulaire en coupe transversale et un second micro-élément (12) guide d'ondes disposé dans un plan différent et couplé optiquement par des photons circulant par effet tunnel. Le second micro-élément guide d'ondes comporte un couplage de sortie (18) pour la lumière, permettant au laser d'émettre la lumière sans effets négatifs sur la valeur Q et sur le seuil d'émission laser bas de la microcavité.
