The invention relates to a microcellular PU elastomer with improved dynamic- mechanical characteristics, based on an isocyanate component consisting essentially of 4,4'-MDI and on other standard components. The proposed elastomer following tempering at temperatures of 100-120 ~C for 8-24 hours has a melting range of between 130 ~C as minimum lower limit and 230 ~C as minimum upper limit, as measured by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) at a heating rate of 20 ~C/min and a urea content of 14-18 wt.%. Also disclosed are a process for producing such a microcellular PU elastomer with improved dynamic-mechanical characteristics and the use of said elastomers in the production of damping elements.

L'invention a pour objet un élastomère PU microcellulaire, à propriétés mécaniques dynamiques améliorées, à base d'un composant isocyanate constitué essentiellement de 4,4'-MDI et d'autres composants de type courant, présentant, après recuit à des températures de 100 à 120 DEG C sur une durée de 8 à 24 heures, une plage de fusion comprise entre 130 DEG C comme limite inférieure minimale et 230 DEG C comme limite supérieure minimale, mesurée suivant la méthode par analyse enthalpique différentielle (DSC), à une vitesse de montée en température de 20 DEG C/min, et une teneur en urée de 14 à 18 % en poids. L'invention a également pour objet un procédé de fabrication d'un tel élastomère PU microcellulaire, à propriétés mécaniques dynamiques améliorées, ainsi que l'utilisation dudit élastomère dans la production d'éléments amortisseurs.
