Novel pharmaceutical compositions which improve the rate and/or extent of absorption of drugs are disclosed. The novel pharmaceutical compositions of the present invention comprise drug-containing microemulsions adsorbed onto solid particles which may be further formulated into solid dosage forms. The compositions and dosage forms of the present invention improve the bioavailability of the wide range of drugs including drugs that are known or suspected of having poor bioavailability by the utilization of several different mechanisms.

Les nouvelles compositions pharmaceutiques de la présente invention comprennent des microémulsions contenant des médicaments adsorbées sur des particules solides qui peuvent ensuite être formulées en formes pharmaceutiques solides. Les compositions et formes pharmaceutiques de la présente invention améliorent la biodisponibilité d'une large gamme de médicaments, y compris des médicaments dont on sait qu'ils présentent une faible biodisponibilité ou qui sont supposés tels, grâce à l'utilisation de plusieurs mécanismes différents.
