A barrier coating composition includes a polymer material and a structuring agent dispersed in said polymer material, wherein the structuring agent decreases oxygen or water permeability through the polymer material. The barrier coating composition can be used to coat a core component, which can be oxygen or water sensitive, to form a microencapsulated material. The microencapsulated material can be formed by microencapsulation methods, which include atomization or coacervation methods, including forming an oil emulsion of an oil phase and an aqueous phase, the oil phase including the core component and the aqueous phase including the polymer material, adding the structuring agent to one of the oil phase and the aqueous phase, mixing the oil emulsion to form desired particle sizes of the core component, forming the shell component around the core component to form the microencapsulated material, and extracting the formed microencapsulated material from the oil emulsion.

L'invention concerne une composition de revêtement anticorrosion comprenant une matière polymère et un agent structurant dispersé dans la matière polymère, ledit agent structurant diminuant la perméabilité à l'oxygène ou à l'eau à travers la matière polymère. Ladite composition de revêtement anticorrosion peut être utilisé pour recouvrir un noyau qui peut être sensible à l'oxygène ou à l'eau, pour former une matière microencapsulée. Ladite matière peut être formée grâce à des procédés de microencapsulation, qui comprennent des procédés d'atomisation ou de coacervation, comprenant les étapes suivantes : formation d'une émulsion huile dans une phase huileuse et dans une phase aqueuse, ladite phase huileuse comprenant le noyau et la phase aqueuse comprenant la matière polymère ; ajout d'un agent structurant à la phase huileuse ou la phase aqueuse ; mélange de l'émulsion huile, de façon à former une taille de particules souhaitée du noyau ; formation de l'enveloppe, de façon à former la matière microencapsulée, et extraction de la matière microencapsulée de l'émulsion huile.
