Abstract A microfilm reader and printer alternatively projects a magnified image of microfilmed information onto a rear-projection screen for viewing or a photoreceptor belt for printing. The projection screen and the photoreceptor belt are in parallel planes for convenient delivery of the printed image and a movable mirror system ensures that the printed image will be of the same magnification as the viewed image.
