A method of restoring microflora to the intestinal tract following antibiotic therapy uses beneficial microbes which are administered in a treatment delivery medium to produce a beneficial microflora growth rate in excess of the natural growth rate. Therefore the intestinal tract is recolonisedby beneficial microbes before other less desirable microbes are able to do so.

Méthode de reconstitution de la microflore du tractus intestinal à la suite d'une antibiothérapie consistant à utiliser des micro-organismes utiles que l'on administre dans un milieu de délivrance du traitement dans le but d'obtenir un taux de développement de la microflore utile supérieur au taux de développement normal. Ainsi, le tractus intestinal est repeuplé par des micro-organismes utiles avant que d'autres micro-organismes moins souhaitables ne puissent le faire.
