A method for directly delivering whereby a substance is introduced into an intradermal space within mammalian skin which involves administering the substance through at least one small gauge hollow needle having an outlet with an exposed height between 0 and 1 mm. The outlet is inserted into the skin to a depth of between .3 mm and 2 mm such that the delivery of the substance occurs at a depth between .3 mm and 2 mm.

L'invention concerne un procédé d'injection directe permettant d'introduire une substance dans un espace intradermique de la peau d'un mammifère. Ledit procédé consiste à administrer la substance par l'intermédiaire d'au moins une aiguille creuse de petit calibre pourvue d'un orifice de sortie, qui possède une hauteur exposée comprise entre 0 et 1 mm. L'orifice de sortie est inséré dans la peau à une profondeur comprise entre 0,3 mm et 2 mm, de manière que l'injection de la substance se produise à une profondeur comprise entre 0,3 mm et 2 mm.
