2072372 9109818 PCTABS00005 A micronutrient fertilizer composition in the form of dry aggregate bodies, the fertilizer composition being adapted to be mixed with a macronutrient fertilizer composition, each aggregate body comprising salts of at least two metals selected from the group consisting Cu, Mn, Zn, Co and Mo as well as at least one water-soluble nitrate which is not in the form of a salt of the above-mentioned metals, the ratio between micronutrients and macronutrients in the micronutrient fertilizer composition being substantially above the ratio in which the micronutrients and macronutrients in question are required by crop plants; a method for preparing the micronutrient fertilizer composition; solid micronutrient fertilizer composition containing the micronutrient fertilizer composition; and a method for fertilizing crops using the micronutrient fertilizer composition. The composition is easily applied to crops or soil together with standard commercial macronutrient fertilizers and is readily soluble in water and easily absorbed by crop plants.
