MacBride ABSTRACT Sandwiches which are ready to bè eaten after being heated in a microwave oven and which contain at least two different product or filler layers which heat at dissimilar rates in a microwave oven with at least one of the layers containing at least one irregularity in the form of a hole(s), indentation(s) or protuberance(s) which allows the two layers to be simultaneously heated to desired eating temperature when the sandwich is heated in a microwave oven. Preferably an irregularity is not visible when a consumer removes an outer layer of the sandwich.
