11.8.1977 ABSTRACT: A microwave device for converting a wave guide structure into a microstrip conductor structure, and conversely, in which the substrate of the microstrip conductor structure is arranged parallel to and in the longitudinal direction of the wave guide. The microstrip conductor is connected to the wave guide wall via a strip-shaped conductor provided on the substrate and the base plate extends on the one hand to the wall situated opposite to the said wall in a narrowing manner and on the other hand constitutes with the edge of the strip-shaped conductor facing the said wall a high-ohmic transmission line so that a low-loss asymmetrical conductor structure is obtained. -15-
