A microwave filter with multiple resonant cavities that are delimited by conducting walls and arranged consecutively. Two adjacent walls are coupled by means of a coupling element comprising a first opening in the common wall of said cavities, a probe (23) positioned in said first opening, which produces a coupling of opposite sign to that defined by said first opening and, also, includes movable adjustment means (33) which penetrate the first opening and whose function is to adjust the overall value of the coupling produced by the combination of said first opening and said probe (23). Consequently, a progressive adjustment of the overall value of the coupling is obtained in a wide range of values. (Figure 3)

Cette invention concerne un filtre hyperfréquence à cavités résonnantes multiples aménagées en file et délimitées par des parois conductrices. Deux parois adjacentes sont couplées au moyen d'un élément de couplage comprenant une première ouverture donnant sur la paroi commune des cavités susmentionnées. Une sonde (23) est placée dans ladite première ouverture qui produit un couplage de signe opposé à celui défini par ladite ouverture et comprend des moyens de réglage mobiles (33) qui pénètrent dans ladite première ouverture et dont la fonction est de régler la valeur globale du couplage réalisé par la combinaison de ladite première ouverture et de ladite sonde (23). Par conséquent, on obtient un réglage progressif de la valeur globale du couplage, dans une gamme étendue de valeurs.
