A B S T R A C T This invention consists of a furnace which uses microwaves as the heating medium. It consists primarily of two compartments, i.e. a cold air compartment which takes in recirculating air at room temperature and feeds into a hot air discharge compartment, by a blower contained therein; and a hot air compartment in which the said air is heated by a series of back and forth bent steam pipes, and discharged for heating purposes. The air heating compartment also contains the heating device which consists of a water supply tank which feeds water to a vaporizer which in turn feeds the vapor into a microwave equipped chamber, where it is changed to steam which flows in said back and forth bent pipes. The steam condensate returns to the water supply tank. A variation of the invention consists of a similar arrangement as des- cribed above but in which the vaporizer is replaced with a pipe made of a non-conducting material upon which the micro- waves act to heat the water therein and circulate it in the back and forth bent pipes.
