Container designed to contain a product having to be heated by applying microwaves, the container having a side wall (10) and an end wall (12) formed by a base or a lid and means (10A) for limiting the penetration of the microwaves through the side wall (10), compared with the penetration of the microwaves through a central region of the end wall (12). Advantageously, the container according to the invention further comprises means (12A) for concentrating the microwaves in a central region of the end wall (12), the said means being formed by an excess thickness of a dielectric material, the dielectric constant of which is at least equal to 1.5, preferably greater than 2.
Récipient destiné à contenir un produit devant être chauffé par application des micro-ondes, le récipient présentant une paroi latérale (10) et une paroi extrême (12) formée par un fond ou un couvercle et des moyens (10A) pour limiter la pénétration des micro-ondes à travers la paroi latérale (10), comparée à la pénétration des micro-ondes à travers une région centrale de la paroi extrême (12). Avantageusement, le récipient selon l'invention comprend en outre des moyens (12A) pour concentrer les micro-ondes dans une région centrale de la paroi externe (12), lesdits moyens étant formés par une surépaisseur en un matériau diélectrique dont la constante diélectrique est au moins égale à 1,5 de préférence supérieure à 2.
