A microwave multiplexer includes a first channel segment (8) having first components (Ai, Bi, Ci, Ji) derived from a first log- periodically scaled prototype. The first channel segment (8) receives a composite signal from a composite-signal port (PC), selects a first channel (CH1, CH2, CH3) having a first bandwidth (BW1, BW2, BW3) and first center frequency (f1, f2, f3) from the composite signal, and directs a first channelized signal to a first channelized-signal port (PN) responsive to the first channel (CH1, CH2, CH3). In addition, the multiplexer includes a second channel segment (4, 6), connected to the first channel segment (8) and having second components (Ai, Bi, Ci, Ji) derived from a second log-periodically scaled prototype. The second channel segment (4, 6) receives the composite signal from the composite-signal port (PC) via the first segment (8), selects a second channel (CH1, CH2, CH3) having a second bandwith (BW1, BW2, BW3) and second center frequency (f1, f2, f3) from the composite signal, and directs a second channelized signal to a second channelized-signal port (P1, P2) respondive to the second channel (CH1, CH2, CH3).
