A microwave oven corn popping vessel, comprising two bodies, namely a top (2) and a lower (3) body, both being quadrangular in plan, the top body (2) having a large central opening (4) made on its top base and a plurality of venting windows (9) halfway up its side walls, with an outer perimetric protuberance (10) next to its lower edge and upwardly inclined shoulders (8) on two opposite walls, whereas the lower body (3) has a recess (5) on its base forming a cross and an upward perimetric projection (11) on its top edge, moreover having tabs (6, 6') on opposite sides and positioned to respectively face the shoulders (8) on the top body (2).
