A fluid sampling device which collects the initial sample of a fluid stream, discards it and collects a mid-stream sample for future analysis. When used for the collection of urine, the initial sample is collected in a hopper, which after collecting the initial sample, rotates from a first positionto a second position and discards some of the initial sample. While in its second position, a surface of the hopper diverts the mid-stream sample to the container for collection of the sample.

Un dispositif d'échantillonnage de fluide collecte l'échantillon initial d'un flux de fluide, le rejette et collecte un échantillon intermédiaire destiné à une analyse. Dans le cas de l'urine, l'échantillon initial est collecté dans une trémie qui passe alors par rotation d'une première à une deuxième position pour rejeter une partie de l'échantillon initial. Dans cette deuxième position, une surface de cette trémie dévie l'échantillon intermédiaire vers un récipient de collecte d'échantillon.
