ABSTRACT Military weapon The military weapon has a housing (10) in which a self-erecting active body (12) is accommodated. The housing (10) consists of a container (14) open at the top and of a cover (32) which rests on the container orifice (22). The housing (10) is deposited on the ground (46) in the terrain, and the active body (12) is horizontal in the container (14) and, with the cover (32) resting on the orifice (22), is in its look-out position. When an enemy is sensed, the active body (12) erects itself automatically, in that it is pivoted by a drive element (44) about a pivot axis (42) arranged within the con- tainer (14). As soon as the active body (12) is erected, its triggering takes place. (Figure 3)
