Milling apparatus (10) comprises three blades (20) the lower part of which are pivotally monted to a mill body (12). The blades (20) pivot outwardly in response to downward movement of a wash tube (30) which contacts the blades (20). The blades (20) have a milling surface which, in use, is parallel to a central longitudinal axis of the mill body (12) so that "full sweep" milling can be achieved.

Cette invention concerne une fraise (10) qui comporte trois lames (20) dont les parties inférieures sont montées, de manière à pouvoir pivoter, sur un corps de fraise (12). Ces lames (20) pivotent vers l'extérieur en réponse à un mouvement de descente d'un tube de surforage (30) qui est en contact avec les lames (20). Les lames (20) possèdent une surface de coupe qui, en cours d'utilisation, est parallèle à un axe central longitudinal du corps de fraise (12) de façon à assurer un balayage complet de l'organe de coupe.
