A mine fire and emergency warning device for the protection of personnel working underground. The device will inject a (rotten egg) stench into fans blowing fresh air to workers underground, as well as into compressed air systems used to operate drilling equipment underground. The automated device disperses the stench at a metered rate, and simultaneously to a multitude of sites, which may be kilometres apart.
