A method of decreasing the viscosity of a mineral ore slurry is disclosed. The method comprises adding to a mineral ore slurry a viscosity modifying treatment such as copolymers of maleic anhydride and diisobutylene; copolymers of acrylic acid and allyl hydroxypropyl sulfonate ether; terpolymers of acrylic acid and 2-acrylamide-2-methypropane sulphonic acid salt and t-butyl acrylamide; copolymers of acrylic acid and polyethyleneglycol monoallyl ether sulfate; and copolymers of acrylic acid and 2-acrylamide-2-methypropane sulphonic acid salt; pentaphosphonates; polymethacrylates; and mixtures thereof to the mineral ore slurry.
L'invention concerne un procédé de diminution de la viscosité d'une bouillie de minerais. Ce procédé consiste à ajouter dans une bouillie de minerais un traitement de modification de viscosité tel que des copolymères d'anhydride maléique et du diisobutylène ; des copolymères d'acide acrylique et de l'allyle hydroxypropyle sulfonate d'éther ; des terpolymères d'acide acrylique et du sel d'acide sulphonique 2-acrylamide-2-methypropane et de l'acrylamide t-butyle; des copolymères d'acide acrylique et du sulfate d'éther polyéthylèneglycole monoallyle ; des copolymères d'acide acrylique et du sel d'acide sulphonique 2-acrylamide-2-méthypropane; des pentaphosphonates; des polyméthacrylates; et des mélanges de ces éléments à la bouillie de minerais.
