one describes a mineral wool product with characteristics sensibly improved of mechanical resistance to the tear and punching, as well as of vapor barrier, obtained from a base or mineral substrate of wool to which there is applied, by one of his faces, a complex formed by one double polyester lamina and polyethylene, with this last one in contact with the mineral wool substrate, the complex being attachedto the substrate with application of beat, taking advantage of the thermofusible characteristics of polyethylene. The product admits to be coiled, the external layer of polyester serving simultaneously as packing material for the formed roll, and also admits the possibility that the substrate is precut in lenghtwise direction, in two or more portions of variable width, tied to each other by the coating, providing the possibility of use of the totality of the width of the set, or a width. smaller by cut and separation of one or more portions.
