ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention provides a small electric motor provided with a case fitted with a magnet within it, a rotary shaft provided so as to pass through the closed wall end of the case and a lid body and a core consisting of a laminated iron core provided so as to be positioned in the inner peripheral part of the magnet, insulating plates provided in front and rear of said iron core and coils wound on the iron core, character- ized by being provided with a commutator pressed in and fixed through fitting members between the core and lid body on the rotary shaft and having contact surfaces parallel with the rotary shaft and brushes provided in the lid body and resiliently pressed toward the rotary shaft and commutator.
