A fluid contamination analyzer (90) accepts data from a sensor array (94). The fluid is affected by a magnetic field stimulus (96) from a control driver (98). Alternatively, an electrostatic field exciter may be used. The sensors impedance as a function of field strength is an indication of the particles characteristics, when multiple sensors are separated by substantial distances, a system of communication links is used and the information is digested at a central location.

L'invention porte sur un analyseur (90) de contamination de fluides recevant des données d'un réseau (94) de détection. Le fluide est soumis à la stimulation (96) d'un champ magnétique modulé par une unité de commande (98). Il est également possible d'utiliser une excitation par champ électrostatique. L'impédance des détecteurs en fonction de l'intensité du champ donne une indication sur les caractéristiques des particules. Lorsque les différents détecteurs sont séparés par des distances appréciables, on utilise un système de liaisons et l'information est traitée en un point central.
