ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A miniature vacuum system includes a plurality of separate probes which can be attached to a support head and manipulated in the manner of a writing implement. Some of the probes are formed simply from a tube with a resilient coating at the end of the tube for engaging the surface. Other probes have a sweeping surface on which is attached a loop pile fabric. The head is attached to a half inch diameter hose with a number of different adapter heads being available for coupling the hose to an existing vacuum system. Two of the heads are used with different types of rechargeable portable vacuums.
