An irrigator/aspirator surgical probe for laparoscopic surgery includes a rotatable handle (22) and a probe (24) having an electrosurgical electrode (78). The handle (22) has two valves (32, 34), one for controlling the flow of irrigation fluid and one for controlling the flow of aspiration fluid. One of the valves can be locked at any selected setting with a locking lever (178). Fine ad- justment of the valve is achieved in the locked position. The probe assembly can be rotated relative to the handle assembly as needed to reduce operator fatigue. The probe can be rotated to position the electrode.
Sonde chirurgicale d'irrigation/aspiration destinée à la laparoscopie comprenant une poignée (22) pouvant tourner et une sonde (24) équipée d'une électrode (78) électrochirurgicale. La poignée (22) comprend deux clapets (32, 34) qui servent respectivement à réguler l'écoulement du fluide d'irrigation et du fluide d'aspiration. On peut bloquer un des clapets à n'importe quel réglage avec un bouton (178) de blocage. On effectue le réglage fin du clapet en position bloquée. On peut faire tourner l'ensemble sonde par rapport à l'ensemble poignée en fonction des besoins pour réduire la fatigue de l'utilisateur. On peut faire tourner la sonde pour positionner l'électrode.
