Some dynamoelectric machines develop shaft E.M.F.'s during operation which lead to circulation currents in the shaft of the machine. The shaft current will attempt to flow through the bearings of the machine, unless some action is taken to prevent or limit said current flow. This invention minimizes the circulation of rotor shaft currents by providing a return path for the shaft current through an insulated conductor located in the center of the shaft of the machine. The insulated conductor is electrically attached to the shaft at the ends of the conductor. The conductor may extend the length of the shaft.

Pendant la marche, certaines machines dynamoélectriques développent au niveau de l'arbre une force électromotrice qui provoquent l'apparition de courants. Le courant présent dans l'arbre tend à traverser les paliers de la machine, sauf à prendre des mesures pour empêcher ou limiter l'écoulement dudit courant. Cette invention permet de réduire la circulation de courant dans l'arbre de rotor en créant un trajet de retour pour ce courant au moyen d'un conducteur isolé situé au centre de l'arbre de la machines. Ce conducteur isolé est relié électriquement à l'arbre par ses extrémités. Il peut parcourir toute la longueur de l'arbre.
