A Minnow Catcher fabricated from a clear transparent material which is placed in strategic areas of streams, ponds or lakes by the fishing person. Located by the attached float marker and retrieved after a short duration. The Catcher is comprised of a cylindrical or spherical body having only one removable solid inwardly facing funnel shaped. i.e. frusto-conical, opening and an attached float marker for ease of locating. Minnows are attracted into the catcher by soda biscuit or like bait and can only exit with some degree of difficulty.
