This invention provides an improved means of filtering air before it reaches the internal ducts of a vehicle's air circulating system. It is mounted just prior to the windshield of a vehicle at the rear of the hood. The product is a composite structure, providing a framework for filters and their covers, as well, a covering to channel air flow and dirt particles through these filters. The filter material is arranged for extraction of dust, soot, air-borne allergens and the like. The filter and cover will also prevent the entry of debris, leaves and the like together with rodents or insects.
