In at least one embodiment a fault sense circuit includes a current sense device, a voltage sense device, a power sense device, a sub-combination thereof or a combination thereof. The current sense device is positioned to sense a drive current provided to a load by a drive circuit. The voltage sense device is coupled across the current sense device and receives a threshold signal at a first input and provides an output signal on an output whose value is dependent upon whether a sense signal at a second input is above or below the threshold signal. A level of the threshold signal changes in response to a voltage level of a power supply that supplies the drive current to the drive circuit.
L'invention concerne, dans au moins un mode de réalisation, un circuit de détection de défaillances qui comporte un dispositif de détection de courant, un dispositif de détection de tension, un dispositif de détection de puissance, une sous-combinaison ou une combinaison de ceux-ci. Le dispositif de détection de courant est disposé de manière à détecter un courant d'attaque fourni à une charge par un circuit d'entraînement. Le dispositif de détection de tension est raccordé au dispositif de détection de courant et reçoit un signal seuil au niveau d'une première entrée; il produit en outre un signal de sortie sur une sortie dont la valeur est fonction du fait qu'un signal de détection au niveau d'une seconde entrée se situe au-dessus ou au-dessous du signal seuil. Un niveau du signal seuil change en réponse à un niveau de tension d'une alimentation électrique qui fournit le courant d'attaque au circuit d'entraînement.
