A single catheter mitral valve repair device for stabilizing a tissue portion and selectively applying a tissue fastener thereto. The single catheter mitral valve repair device of the present invention includes an extendable engagement tip having at least one vacuum port formed thereon, at least one deployable fastener in communication with the engagement tip, and at least one actuator member in communication with the port. The deployable fastener is capable of controllably engaging and fastening a tissue segment located proximal to the engagement tip.
La présente invention concerne un dispositif de réparation de valvule mitrale à cathéter unique utilisé pour stabiliser une partie de tissu et pour appliquer sélectivement une fixation tissulaire sur cette dernière. Le dispositif de réparation de valvule mitrale à cathéter unique selon la présente invention comprend une pointe de contact extensible sur laquelle est formé au moins un orifice de vide, au moins une fixation déployable qui communique avec la pointe de contact et au moins un élément actionneur qui communique avec l'orifice. La fixation déployable peut bloquer et fixer de manière contrôlée un segment de tissu situé proximal à la pointe de contact.
