An azeotropic composition consisting of 89.2 wt% of 1,1,1,2,2,3,3,4,4,5,5,6,6-tridecafluorohexane and 10.8 wt% of methanol and an azeotropic composition consisting of 91.1 wt% of 1,1,1,2,2,3,3,4,4,5,5,6,6- tridecafluorohexane and 8.9 wt% of ethanol. The present invention provides alternative azeotropic solvent compositions which have excellent properties of conventional 1,1,2-trichloro-1,2,2-trifluoroethane and do not deplete the stratospheric ozone layer.
Sont décrites une composition azéotrope constituée de 89,2 % en poids de 1,1,1,2,2,3,3,4,4,5,5,6,6-tridécafluorohexane et de 10,8 % en poids de méthanol, et une autre composition azéotrope constituée de 91,1 % en poids de l'hexane précité et de 8,9 % en poids d'éthanol. Ces compositions remplacent le 1,1,2-trichloro-1,2,2-trifluoroéthane classique sans affecter la couche d'ozone stratosphérique et tout en maintenant les excellentes caractéristiques de l'éthane précité.
