The invention relates to a mixer for mixing an industrial secondary gas (B) into an industrial primary gas (A). The mixer comprises: - a pipe (10) for supplying the primary gas; - N (N ~ 2) secondary-gas injectors (12), the openings of which run into the said pipe in the mixing zone, the said openings of the injectors being placed in the same cross section of the pipe, all the injectors having the same optimum flow rate range; - valve-based means (14) for controlling the secondary-gas flow rate in the said injectors; and - control means (20) for controlling the said valve-based means (14) so that each. injector is fed with gas at a zero flow rate or at a flow rate common to all the injectors fed, the said common flow rate lying within the optimum flow rate range.
