ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Mixer-settler apparatus comprising at least one assembly constituted by one or more mixers in series fitted with stirring and pumping means, at least one settling tank in which the liquids separate, and at least one chute conveying the mixture of liquids from the pumping means to said settling tank, the apparatus being of the "reverse liquid flow" type and the chute being submerged within the settling tank.
