The assembly for mixing hair-colouring ingredients comprises a cantilevered base plate/support structure for mounting to a wall. An array of electric motors is supported by the structure. An apertured baffle beater having a splash plate at its upper end can be disengagably mounted on the drive shaft of each motor, for rotation thereby. A pot, containing the hair-colouring ingredients, can be disengagably latched onto the support structure at each motor station so that the beater is immersed in the ingredients. The splash plate functions to contain the ingredients within the pot during mixing. The removable beater, splash plate and pot can be easily cleaned and contamination of the next batch is thereby minimized.
