The present invention provides a mixing block for mixing fluid components of a multi-component system and which includes at least two components inlets (202, 204. wherein each component inlet receives a respective component or components of the multi-component system; and a solvent inlet (210), wherein the solvent inlet receives solvent for use in cleaning the mixing block. The mixing block further includes at least two flow channels (212, 214), which intersect, wherein an upstream end (216, 218) of each of the intersecting flow channels (212, 214) is connected to at least one of the component inlets (202, 204) and a downstream end of each of the intersecting flow channels is connected to a mixed material reservoir (224), wherein the mixed material reservoir (224) is further connected to and supplies mixed material to an outlet (206). The mixing block also includes a solvent chamber (232) which is connected to both the solvent inlet (210) and the upstream ends of the intersecting flow channels (219, 214) end a solvent diverter (230) which diverts solvent back into the component inlets (230) to facilitate cleaning of the component inlets (202, 204) as well as the intersecting flow channels (212, 214), mixed material reservoir (224) and outlet (226). Additionally, an apparatus which utilizes the above described mixing block is also disclosed.
La présente invention concerne un bloc de mélange destiné au mélange de composants fluides d'un système à composants multiples et comprenant au moins deux orifices d'admission de composants (202, 204), chaque orifice d'admission de composant recevant un composant ou des composants respectifs du système à composants multiples; et un orifice d'admission de solvant (210), l'orifice d'admission de solvant recevant un solvant s'utilisant pour le nettoyage du bloc de mélange. Le bloc de mélange comprend en outre au moins deux canaux d'écoulement (212, 214) en intersection, une extrémité en amont (216, 218) de chaque canal d'écoulement (212, 214) en intersection étant reliée à au moins un des orifices d'admission de composants (202, 204) et une extrémité en aval de chaque canal d'écoulement en intersection étant reliée à un réservoir (224) de matière mélangée, le réservoir (224) de matière mélangée étant relié à un orifice de sortie (226) qu'il alimente en matière mélangée. Le bloc de mélange comprend également un compartiment de solvant (232) relié à l'orifice d'admission de solvant (210) et aux extrémités en amont des canaux d'écoulement (212, 214) en intersection, et un organe de déviation de solvant (230) qui retourne le solvant dans les orifices d'admission de composants (202, 204) pour faciliter le nettoyage des orifices d'admission de composants (202, 204) ainsi que des canaux d'écoulement (212, 214) en intersection, du réservoir (224) de matière mélangée et de l'orifice de sortie (226). L'invention concerne en outre un appareil comprenant le bloc de mélange décrit ci-dessus.
