A concrete mixing drum includes a wall having a first section and a second section. The first section extends in a spiral along an axial centerline of the drum. The second section extends in a spiral along the axial centerline of the drum adjacent to the first section. The second section is separated from the first section by a seam. A first ramp is coupled to the first section and extends from the inner surface of the first section proximate a first side of the seam. A second ramp is coupled to the second section and extends from the inner surface of the second section proximate a second side of the seam.
