Mixtures containing a) thermoplastic polycarbonates based on diphenols corresponding to formula (I) (see fig. I), in which R1 and R2 independently of one another represent hydrogen, halogen, C1-C8 alkyl, C5-C6 cycloalkyl, C6-C10 aryl and C7-C12 aralkyl, m is an integer of from 4 to 7, R3 and R4 may be individually selected for each X and independently of one another represent hydrogen or C1-C6 alkyl and X represents carbon, with the proviso that, at at least one atom X, both R3 and R4 are alkyl, and b) elastomers or other thermoplastics than those of component a) and, optionally, c) standard additives, processes for their preparation, and the use therof for the production of films.
