The drying unit has an elongated housing, supported on wheels and configured for towing by a tractor. Several conveyors, preferably three, are arranged to extend longitudinally in the housing, one above the other, including an uppermost conveyor operating rearwardly, each subsequently lower conveyor alternating in direction. An inclined conveyor carries the hay or other product from the ground up to the front of the uppermost conveyor. The conveyors have perforated plates for allowing air flow upwardly therethrough, and spikes extending from lateral bars to engage the hay or other product to move it positively through the unit. Deflectors are provided for routing the hay or other product from conveyor to conveyor. A blower directs air, heated by a propane burner, along the bottom of the housing. The heated air flows upwardly through the conveyors and out of the top of the housing.
Unité de séchage comportant un boîtier allongé monté sur roues et configuré pour être tiré par un tracteur. De nombreux convoyeurs, de préférence trois, sont disposés de manière à occuper, en empilade, un espace longitudinal dans le boîtier. Des déflecteurs servent à diriger le foin ou tout autre produit d'un convoyeur à l'autre. Une soufflerie dirige l'air, chauffée par un brûleur au propane dans le bas du boîtier. L'air chauffé monte vers le haut à travers les convoyeurs et s'échappe vers l'extérieur dans le haut du boîtier.
