A mobile light is disclosed that produces a high level of illumination without glare using the DC power of a vehicle's battery and charging system. The mobile light uses a high-intensity discharge lamp with a control circuit that initially ignites the lamp using a voltage multiplier circuit and that maintains illumination of the lamp using an FET switching circuit that applies a lower AC voltage to the lamp. The microprocessor also periodically adjusts the power delivered to the lamp to compensate for adverse conditions, such as high temperatures within the work light, or a high or low DC input voltage. The microprocessor also periodically senses the level of illumination provided by the lamp and adjusts the voltage applied to the lamp accordingly.
L'invention concerne un rayonnement mobile produisant un niveau élevé d'éclairage sans éblouissement, au moyen de la puissance CC de la batterie et du système de charge d'un véhicule. Le rayonnement mobile utilise une lampe à décharge à intensité élevée dotée d'un circuit de commande allumant, dans un premier temps, la lampe, au moyen d'un circuit multiplicateur de tension et maintenant l'éclairage de la lampe au moyen d'un circuit de commutation FET appliquant une tension CA inférieure à la lampe. Le microprocesseur règle également périodiquement la puissance fournie à la lampe, afin de compenser des conditions défavorables, telles que des températures élevées dans le rayonnement de travail ou une tension d'entrée CC élevée ou basse. Le microprocesseur détecte également, de manière périodique, le niveau d'éclairage fourni par la lampe et règle la tension appliquée à celle-ci en fonction dudit niveau.
