There is provided a mobile radio communication device which is designed to prevent dishonest applica- tions by using a management table (30) for storing a plurality of MINs and count values as authentication parameters corresponding to the MINs and effecting the authentication procedure at the time of radio connec- tion to a base station. Whether or not an input MIN is already set in the management table (30) is determined at the time of MIN setting operation, and if it is already set, it is determined that the setting operation is a resetting operation and the already set MIN and count value are kept held as they are. On the other hand, if the input MIN is not set in the management table (30), whether or not a MIN having a count value of "0" is set in the management table (30) is determined, and if it is set, an input MIN is set in place of the above MIN, and if it is not set, an input MIN and the initial value "0" of the count value are set in an available area of the management table (30).

Un appareil est doté d'un tableau de contrôle (30) destiné à mémoriser plusieurs MIN (numéro d'identification de mobile), et des valeurs calculées à titre de paramètres de certification correspondant à ces MIN respectifs, pour éviter une utilisation frauduleuse, en permettant une identification avant toute connexion avec une station de base. Lors de l'enregistrement d'un MIN, il est vérifié que le numéro introduit est déjà inscrit dans le tableau de contrôle (30) et si oui, cette introduction est interprétée comme un ré-enregistrement, et le MIN et la valeur calculée déjà enregistrés sont maintenus en l'état. Autrement, il est vérifié en outre qu'un MIN dont la valeur calculée est "0" est déjà enregistré dans le tableau de contrôle (30). Si oui, le MIN introduit est enregistré et si non, le MIN enregistré et la valeur initiale "0" de la valeur calculée sont enregistrés dans la zone vide du tableau de contrôle (30).
