A method of recovering from a restart procedure in a mobile switching center (MSC) in a radio telecommunications network having a home location register (HLR) that maintains subscriber profiles and a MSC that maintains temporary subscriber records associated with the subscriber profiles in the HLR. The MSC maintains the temporary subscriber records in the MSC during the restart procedure, and flags each temporary subscriber record in the MSC that went through the restart. The HLR flags each subscriber profile in the HLR that fails an attempt to update an associated temporary subscriber record in the MSC during the restart procedure. When an access attempt is received in the MSC that requires use of a temporary subscriber record that is flagged, the MSC requests the HLR to send any changes to the flagged temporary subscriber record. The HLR then determines whether the subscriber profile associated with the flagged temporary subscriber record in the MSC is flagged in the HLR. If the subscriber profile is not flagged, the HLR sends a message to the MSC indicating that there are no changes to the flagged temporary subscriber record. However, if the subscriber profile in the HLR is flagged, the HLR sends to the MSC, the changes stored in the flagged profile which then update the flagged temporary subscriber record in the MSC. The flagged subscriber profile and the flagged temporary record are then reset.
Procédé de reprise après une procédure de relance dans un centre de commutation radiomobile (CCM) d'un réseau de radiocommunication comportant un enregistreur de localisation nominal (ELR), qui conserve les profils d'abonnés, et un centre de commutation radiomobile, qui conserve les enregistrements d'abonnés temporaires associés aux profils d'abonnés dudit enregistreur. Le centre de commutation conserve les enregistrements d'abonnés temporaires dans le centre de commutation durant la procédure de relance (23) et place un drapeau dans chaque enregistrement d'abonné temporaire dans le centre de commutation où a eu lieu la relance (24). L'enregistreur met un drapeau dans chaque profil d'abonné dans le centre de commutation qui échoue dans sa tentative d'actualiser un enregistrement d'abonné temporaire associé dans le centre de commutation durant la procédure de relance (22). Quand une tentative d'accès reçue dans le centre de commutation nécessite l'emploi d'un enregistrement d'abonné temporaire contenant un drapeau, le centre de commutation demande à l'enregistreur d'envoyer toutes les modifications à l'enregistrement d'abonné temporaire contenant un drapeau (35). L'enregistreur détermine alors si le profil d'abonné associé à l'enregistrement d'abonné temporaire contenant un drapeau dans le centre de commutation contient un drapeau dans l'enregistreur (36). Si le profil d'abonné ne contient pas de drapeau, l'enregistreur envoie au centre de commutation un message indiquant qu'il n'y a pas de modification pour l'enregistrement d'abonné temporaire contenant un drapeau (37). Mais si le profil d'abonné dans l'enregistreur contient un drapeau, l'enregistreur envoie les modifications mises en mémoire dans le profil contenant un drapeau au centre de commutation, qui ensuite actualise l'enregistrement d'abonné temporaire contenant un drapeau dans le centre de commutation (39). Le profil d'abonné contenant un drapeau et l'enregistrement d'abonné temporaire contenant un drapeau sont alors réinitialisés (40).
