The present invention provides a method of sustaining the rate of heat felt on the skin as a result of an exothermic reaction between a combination of an unencapsulated and an encapsulated catalase, and peroxide. The catalase component provides a sustained heat release and in combination with other non- catalase heat-generating agents, the rate of heat released and felt on the skin can be further controlled. The compositions of the present invention also soften the skin and contribute to the health of the skin by reducing the presence of oxygen free radicals on the skin surface.
Cette invention concerne un procédé visant à maintenir le taux de chaleur ressenti sur la peau à la suite d'une réaction exothermique entre une combinaison d'une catalase non encapsulée et d'une catalase encapsulée et un peroxyde. Le composant catalase permet d'obtenir une libération de chaleur prolongée et lorsqu'il est combiné à d'autres agents générateurs de chaleur non catalase, le taux de chaleur libéré et ressenti sur la peau peut être encore régulé. Les compositions de la présente invention servent par ailleurs à adoucir la peau et contribuent à la santé de la peau du fait qu'elles réduisent la présence de radicaux libres d'oxygène sur la surface de la peau.
