The present invention is directed towards modified release tablets comprising a tablet matrix having dispersed therein tamsulosin or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and optionally having an enteric coating over said matrix with a dissolution profile such that in each of the media SIF, FaSSIF, and FeSSIF said tablet releases not more than 60% of said tamsulosin at 2 hours elapsed time in USP 2 apparatus using 500 ml of said media at 50-100 rpm paddle speed.
L'invention concerne des comprimés à libération modifiée comprenant une matrice de comprimé dans laquelle la tamsulosine ou un sel pharmaceutiquement acceptable de celle-ci est dispersé. Ces comprimés comprennent éventuellement un enrobage gastro-résistant qui recouvre ladite matrice et qui présente un profil de dissolution déterminé de manière que, dans chacun des milieux suivants : suc digestif artificiel (SIF), suc digestif artificiel à jeun (FaSSIF) et suc digestif artificiel après absorption d'aliments (FeSSIF), ledit comprimé ne libère pas plus de 60 % de ladite tamsulosine après un délai deux heures, au cours d'un test effectué dans un dispositif USP 2, avec une quantité de milieu de 500 ml, et une vitesse de rotation des ailettes de 50-100 tours/minute.
