There is described an improved method and apparatus for a window blind having a lift cord loop for adjusting the blind, the apparatus comprising a hollow elongated member connected to the blind for enclosing at least the looped end of the lift cord, and a pull cord connected to the lift cord within the hollow member, the other end of the lift cord emerging therefrom, the hollow member being of sufficient length to enclose at least the lower looped end of the lift cord in any adjusted position of the blind.
