A modular connector assembly particularly useful in the wiring sys- tems of motor vehicles. The connec- tor assembly includes a single terminal connector member (12) and a plurality of separate terminal connector mem- bers (14) which collectively and mat- ingly engage with the single connector member. The separate terminal mem- bers (14) are contained in the chambers (18) of a multi-chambered flange which retains them in mating orientation with respect to the single connector mem- ber. An H-bar (24) is configured to engage and unite the plurality of sepa- rate connector members and the flange to form a united assembly. The united assembly is then engaged with the sin- gle connector member to establish elec- trical communications therebetween.

Un ensemble connecteur modulaire, particulièrement utile pour les systèmes de câblage des véhicules, comprend un unique connecteur terminal opposé à plusieurs connecteurs terminaux séparés qui entrent collectivement en prise avec lui par accouplement.
