A three component "Modular Connector System", is disclosed whose function is to connect wires which are equipped on their ends with male and female terminals. The connector system forms a clamp for different quantities of wire, to facilitate the assembly of different parts of an installation, as for example, in the automotive industry. The connector system is characterised by a module which is comprised of a box of a prismatic configuration open at one end, connectors and a male terminal for insertion into the box. The box includes a lower base from which four sides extend perpendicularly. One pair of opposing sides are larger than the other pair, with slots separating one of the larger sides from each adjacent side. A series of windows or openings are provided in the larger side to engage complementary placed stops formed in the connectors.
