ABSTRACT An electrical connector block comprising plug and/or socket units mechanically coupled together side by side. Each unit has an insulating housing of rectangular cross section. One pair of opposite sides has a dovetail tongue and groove parallel to the plugging direction, and the other pair has a dovetail tongue and groove parallel to the said direction. This construction prevents coupled units from being pulled apart when plug and socket blocks are plugged or unplugged.
