A modular floor terminal basket with a damper is mounted in the floor of an occupied space for delivering air from an under floor air plenum to the occupied space above. The modular floor terminal basket with a damper includes a generally cylindrical basket with air inlet openings on the basket side and an air outlet at the top of the basket. A damper is positioned in the basket for movement from a lower opened position to an upper closed position. The position of the damper is controlled by an actuator which in turn is controlled by a thermostat/controller in the occupied space above the floor. The damper is slideably mounted on a damper guide extending from the bottom of the basket toward the air outlet at the top of the basket. The actuator rotates a threaded shaft that engages a threaded collar attached to the damper so that the damper slides up and down along the damper guide.
L~invention concerne un panier terminal pour plancher modulaire doté d~un registre. Le panier terminal doté d~un registre est monté dans le plancher d~un espace occupé pour acheminer de l~air d~une chambre de distribution d~air située sous le plancher à un espace occupé situé au-dessus du plancher ; il comporte un panier généralement cylindrique dont les côtés présentent des ouvertures d~admission d~air et dont le dessus présente une évacuation d~air. Un registre est placé dans le panier de façon à être mobile entre une position inférieure ouverte et une position supérieure fermée. La position du registre est commandée par un actionneur lui-même commandé par un thermostat / régulateur placé dans l~espace occupé situé au-dessus du plancher. Le registre est monté coulissant sur un guide-registre qui s~étend du fond du panier vers l~évacuation d~air au-dessus du panier. L~actionneur entraîne en rotation un arbre fileté qui se visse dans un manchon taraudé fixé au registre pour faire monter et descendre celui-ci le long du guide-registre.
