Textile face floor covering modules (16, 18) bonded together with polymer moldings (10) that may have T-shaped and other cross sections. The molding (10) can be installed by hand and utilizing an installation apparatus (20) that dispenses molding (10) from a reel, positions the molding (10) at abutting module interfaces, heats the molding (10) to soften it, and presses it into a final position, imparting a desired surface texture.
